There's a funny thing about the Spaceport Matriarch event in ARC Raiders: the loudest players usually do the most work, and the quietest player can still walk away rich. If you're trying to get a Matriarch Core without donating your entire kit to the lobby, you'll want to think like a scavenger, not a boss killer. Before you even queue, have a quick look at ARC Raiders Items so you know what's actually worth risking a run for, because not every shiny drop is a payday.
This approach only really shines on Spaceport, and it starts with not rushing in. Seriously—wait a couple minutes before you drop. You're not trying to "start the event," you're trying to arrive when it's already messy. By then, squads are committed, ammo's been spent, and people have tunnel vision. You'll also notice fewer players watching corners and more players staring at the Matriarch's legs like it owes them money. That's the moment you want.
Your kit should feel almost wrong. Skip the heavy guns. Bring a Cloaking Device, no debate. Add light healing and stamina stuff so you can keep moving. If you've got it, carry a Defibrillator blueprint too. Not because you're a saint—because reviving someone creates a little pause in the usual "shoot on sight" vibe. Half the time they'll sprint back into the fight instead of turning to check who helped them, and you've kept the distraction alive.
During the fight, parts and loot get thrown around the area. Don't charge straight in. Sit back, use cover, and scan the floor. Ping items from a safe angle if you can. You're waiting for that specific glow: the Matriarch Core. When you spot it, cloak, move in a clean line, and don't zigzag like you're auditioning for a highlight reel. The explosions and dust help more than you'd think, and most players won't notice a shimmer when they're panicking.
The second you get the search prompt, grab the core and slam it straight into your Safe Pocket. Do it even if you hear footsteps. Do it even if someone's shooting nearby. If you die right after, it's still a win, because the secure slot is the whole point of the run. And if you're the type who'd rather top up supplies between attempts than grind empty-handed, a lot of players use U4GM to pick up game currency or items so they can keep doing these low-risk runs without waiting on perfect RNG.
